McDonald's have managed to withstand the many challenges that time brings on their way by adapting to its environment. By innovation and adaption , coming up with innovative food product and services in order to address the requirements of the diverse customer or market McDonald's adapted to the environment by franchising to locals. The company has made successful effort to get back its corporate image by providing Fast and convenient campaign which includes radial adjustment of its food product portfolio to new merging industry trends. The fast and convenient elements of the company's concept were launched by the more natural and healthy elements, like adding fruits, salads,carrot sticks in to the menu. Recently company has continue to expand its product portfolio by offering good quality coffee and more healthy drinks, competing head to head with local coffee shops and Starbucks- advantageous by local trends such as austerity in Europe.

McDonald's over all strategy is "Plan to win", Actually they are not planning to became biggest food service company in the world but to become best fast food restaurant. In order to influence the new trending environment they have customized their food menu in different countries. For example in US they have mainly focused on breakfast, beverages,chicken. They feel that Customizing the product as well as service in order to match different customs in all over the world will provide more advantage over their rivals. The company focuses on people,product,price and distribution. They take good care of the employees,employees are provided with hospitality training in order to have customer focused staffs in the company. They have clean and modern style of restaurants. they have reconstructed the building which has good interior along with atmosphere. Their strategy is to create better service restaurants operations, variety in menu, variety of drinks and beverage choices. In addition they have focused on lowest cost producer by reducing the waste: They started to re use many disposable items.
