This is a 3 part question but one question
(A) Discuss the probability of landing on heads if you flipped a coin 10 times?
(B) What is the probability the coin will land on heads on each of the 10 coin flips
(C) Apply this same binomial experiment to a different real-world situation. Describe a situation involving probability.
(3) A binomial experment can be applied anywhere if it satisfy following condistions:
The conditions of the binomial distribution are as follows:
1.The probability of success is fixed for every trail.
2.The number of trails is independent.
3.The sample size is countable.(1,2,3..)
Example:
Economists used binomial theorem to count probabilities that depend on numerous and very distributed variables to predict the way the economy will behave in the next few years. To be able to come up with realistic predictions, binomial theorem is used in this field.
Binomial Theorem has also been a great use in the architecture industry in design of infrastructure. It allows engineers, to calculate the magnitudes of the projects and thus delivering accurate estimates of not only the costs but also time required to construct them
