Expert Solution

Option E-CUPOLA

Semicircular canal is the structure of the inner ear which help in controlling the body equilibrium. There are three semicircular canal which are arranged as right angle to eachother.

At the end of the each semicircular canal have a dilation called Crista ampullaris.

The gelatinous cup present inside the crista ampullaris is called cupola.it cntain hair cell which sense the movement of head.

Otolith is chemically calcim carbonate stone located in the utricle and saccule of teh inner ear.it also help in maintaining the equilibrium.

urticle and saccule are otherwise called otolith organ.Utricle is larger than the saccule.

Macula is the hair cell present in the utricle which help to maintain the equilibrium.

scala media is the middle puch of the cochlea which seperated by basilar membrane and reissners membrane.it is filled with enolymph.Organ of corti which convert the mechanical sound into electrical waves are located in the scala media.
