   Growth rate of an organism is the divsion or proliferation of an organism.Or the rate at wich an organism grows.

Growth rate is the rate or speed of multipication or increase in their population

There are specfic equations for determining the growth rate of an organism.It can be calculated by dividing the change in the number of organisms from one point of time to another by the amount of time in the interval between the points of time.

MEAN GROWTH RATE OF AN ORGANISM

   it is the sum of all the growth rate values divided by the no of months or days or time taken for the calculation .

if we are calculating the mean for an year with months , then the growth rate values of each month from the begining of the year to the end of the particualr year is added and the divided by the number of months taken to get the mean growth rate of an organism.
