Many types of bias exist when it comes to surveys, including nonresponse bias, undercoverage, and poorly worded survey questions. Think about a survey you’ve been asked to participate in. Maybe it was printed on a fast-food receipt or a store directed you to an online survey after you made a purchase. What influenced you to participate in the survey or to opt out of participating?

Survey, the word typically means that to collect various types of information from each and every customer just to understand the need and service done by any of the stores. These surveys will help them in providing the good amount of real knowledge from the end customer to know where the store is actually stays in terms of customer satisfaction.

The common survey which i have faced was to take up a survey in the cloth store after the billing point. After the customer bills for the purchase made they were asked to take up the survey just to know the stores performance and also to know about the working people's nature of treating the customers.

The surveys were very simple it was with the smiley buttons and the feedback note. Smiley buttons represent the mood of the customer how well they have been treated or how the store environment and the sales representative behaviour. Survey is necessary because we can able to give the store what we are actually look for and how we felt about the work done by the sales representative. By taking the survey the store will read the most common mistake or the areas of improvement and they will improve on it accordingly. Smiley's are the one which influenced me to take up the survey.
