How would you talk to your Director about the lack of attention to diverse populations before, during, and after a disaster? Answer) I would talk to the director about how the overall reputation of the company depends on how does it treat social vulnerabilities in the times of any disaster. Households before and after disaster are not the same. The remember the Organisations which helped them during the diaster . They may like an organisation and use its products before the Organisation but after facing many types of Social vulnerabilities such as economic vulnerabilities and emotional vulnerabilities due to disaster, there lifestyle, preferences changes and this is an golden opportunity for a company to grow. Partnership with individual to develop many types of helps that could support the people ,could become potential customers and emotionally these companies will be inbeddded in their minds. So I think that the company should look more into the social vulnerabilities part by supporting them Maximum during the times of diaster and not thinking about the profit. We will be portrayed as first responders who acted on this and we will be seen in various platforms as an ethical company and as people are becoming more and more conscious ,they like to use that products of Companies which are ethically responsible and helps the society.
