Three samples of drain cleaner were dissolved in deionized water. Three determinations of the wt-% alkali in each sample were made. The following information was obtained:
​​Mean for Sample #1 = 53.56 wt-% alkali
​​Mean for Sample #2 = 60.32 wt-% alkali
​​Mean for Sample #3 = 59.48 wt-% alkali
Fisher's Least Significant Difference (LSD) was computed (at 95% confidence) and found to be LSD = 0.88 wt-% alkali. Compute the numerical differences between all three unique pairs of means and indicate whether each difference appears to be real or is only a result of variability in the experiment.
