Explain three influences that could increase our blood pressure and three influences that can decrease our blood pressure explain it in terms of how those influencing factors affect the three components of the circulatory system.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Blood pressure is influenced by many factors the main factors include

Cardic output

Peripheral vascular resistance

Viscosity of blood and also rigidity of walls.

If the above three increases the the blood pressure also rises.

These factors also influences the decrease in blood pressure .

Blood pressure decreases with decrese in the cardiac output , peripheral resistance and viscosity of blood.

I) cardic output

The amount of blood pumped by one ventricle in one increases,them it increases the blood pressure because as the heart beats forcefully the blood pressure increases.

II) Peripheral vascular resistance;

It is the resistance in the circulatory system that creates pressure in blood called blood pressure. So the flow of blood is a cardic function..When the blood vessels are constricted the that leads to rise in blood pressure.

Viscosity of blood;

It is the measure of thickness of blood. As the Thickness of blood increases the the peripheral vascular resistance also increases there by cause the rise in blood pressure.Some times excessive viscosity causes the blood to clot and rises the blood pressure abnormally.

When viscosity is decreased the Peripheral vascular resistance also decreases they by causes decrease in blood pressure.
