Statement A and B are correct...

Leutinizing hormone is released from the anterior lobe of the pituatary gland which is produced by the hypothalamus

This hormone is produced in the males and females both ; in females it denotes the ovulation time of the mensuration and in males it promotes the testis to produce testosterone.

Lh Or leutinizing hormones works with another hormone callef follicle stimulating hormone which matures the follicle in the ovary and these both hormones are part of the gonadotropin releasing hormone (GNRH) .

When there is the increase in the LH hormone normally it denotes the stage of the ovulation and called as LH surge.

During this time the level of the ESTROGEN is increased more to inhibit the level of FSH to stop growing follicle and near day of 14 or mid cycle ovulation occurs and egg comes out of the follicle .

And that empty follicle which is called corpus leuteum Starts producing the progesterone to prepare the endometrium and if there is no conception occurs it use to shrink in corpus albican and starts degenerating and new cycle starts.

This is the process of the ovulation in which LH surge is shown.

So concludively it is clear that if we comsider the increasing level of LH hormone then it is a time of ovulation normally and at that time

Level of estrogen is increased and level of FSH is decreased and no follicles are matured at that time.

And there is a formation of corpus luteum because as ovulation occurs corpus luteum is formed and its starts secreting the progesterone hormone for the growth and maturation of the endometrium.

LH ALSO STIMULATES THE PRODUCTION OF PROGESTERONE ALSO.

So the statement 1 and 2 are right while 4th cant be right because estrogen is released more which supports the LH hormone in ovulation and also inhibits the level of FSH for that time.
