Holism
for understanding the behaviour, psychologist use Holism.
In psychology, holism is an approach that focuses on looking at things as a whole to understand the human mind and behaviour. It is often contrasted with relativism, which attempts to break things down into its smallest parts instead.
In terms of psychology, the holistic view suggests that viewing the mind as a unit is important, rather than attempting to break it down into its individual parts. Every single component plays its own important role, but it still operates within an interconnected structure.Essentially, holism suggests humans are more than just the sum of their parts. To understand how people think, the holistic perspective emphasizes you need to do more than just focus on how each individual component works in isolation. Psychologists who follow this view, on the opposite, feel it is more important to look at how all the pieces fit together.
Example of holism
An example of holism is a theory that believes you can't break things down in order to study them, but rather that everything must be understood in relation to the whole or the sum of its parts.
