There are several reasons to conduct a modelling and simulation analysis in the beginning stages of a laser systems engineering project, but the major and the most effective are:
1. Photon Dissociation
2. Heat Generation
Explanation:
1. Photon dissociation: In laser system, various lens, reflectors, slits etc. are used to run a project, therefore the tracking of photons emitted from such objects is very necessary, the photon dissociation occurs when a laser beam hits the object (mentioned above), and decrease in intensity and amplitudes can occur and this could result in vast errors in final observations, that's why the photon dissociation should be measured computationally.
2. Heat generation: It depends on the power/luminosity of the laser. more the Watts of laser, higher heat energy will flow, and it can affect the specimens or tools used to do any project. Thus using simulations the heat energy generation must be plotted to various location and objects to run the project smoothly.
