Describe what happened to heart rate and systolic blood pressure at each posture. Is this what you expected? Why or why not? Explain why you should see change in these variables with changes in posture.
Heart rate for adults remains for 60 to 100 beats per minute in
which a lower rate of heart implies the more efficient function of
the heart and better cardiovascular fitness. Heart rate takes place
many times in which one can observe the different types of beats
per minute when they are resting.
Systolic blood pressure refers to the amount of pressure in the
artery which is observed during the contraction of the heart
muscle. This is also referred to as blood pressure in which the
heart muscle is between the beats. Systolic blood pressure can be
caused due to some underlying conditions like the stiffness of
artery and hyperthyroidism or Diabetes.
There are different postural effects on heart rate and but systolic
pressure there are different types of body positions in which one
can observe different types of blood pressure.
The sitting‐lying- in this posture one can observe the increased
blood pressure and Pulse rate because the trunk is moved towards
the vertical position.
The sitting‐standing- in this posture one can observe the
hydrostatic influence that acts on the change of the thigh in two
different postures.
The squatting posture- the level of tissues and vessels which are
involved in this position. One can observe the lower down of heart
rate and systolic blood pressure in this posture.
Yes, these are the posture which we expect because of the body at
the different cardiac output. One should see the changes in this
variable which change with posture because of different other
organs that are related to this. The static concentration of
muscles is also responsible to change the systolic and diastolic
blood pressure.
