Cloud providers face the many challenges related to security and
privacy issues of cloud consumers. There are threats are arised in
cloud computing services which cause the data leaks.
- Cloud consumers request for the cloud services to store their
data in cloud. So security is provided by the cloud providers but
it is not strong. Because attackers can easily break the security
features and hack the data. They can insert the malwares by
hijacking methods to cause system risk.
To avoid such type of threats cloud providers should take some
measurements are following as:
- Provide effective training to the employees in handling the
security threats and privacy risks to protect the data.
- Encryption methods should be strongly applied on the data.
- Develop the applications with less user-friendly nature. This
avoids the outsiders to access the application.
- Authentication and authorization methods should be applied when
providing cloud services to the customers.
- Testing should be performed for all activities involved in
cloud computing.
- Security and privacy features should be improved to make the
data confidential.
- Cloud providers should use standard frameworks of Application
Programming Interfaces (API's).
- Cloud providers make sure that all systems and models are
updated.
- Cloud providers should monitor the consumers list who are
taking and using cloud services.
By the following above measurements, cloud providers can avoid
such type of threats and vulnerabilities in regulating
services.
