Discuss the terms Route Selection and Cost Factor
In general route selection is the term we use when more than one path are present to complete the task. Selection of route and cost are many time related with each other. We can easily understand this thing by an example of transportation system. Let you are at point A and you want to go to point B. But there are many ways and means to reach there. Now you have to think about each route and your priorities like you want to reach there as early as possible so you have to go through private taxi which cost more or you want to go cheaply than you have to go through any public means like bus. So in these cases Route selection is depends on our priorities and demand which affect the cost of the work. Same thing is for the route selection of chemical engineering. For particular product so many ways and process and raw materials are available but when we analyse the cost of these different processes are different. So overall the cost and route depends on our desired quality of product.
