COMPANY CHOSEN – INSPIRA MARKETING
1. How external factors affect the company’s structure.
External factors are those factors which exist in the external environment of the company and this includes customers, competitors, political, social and economic situations, technology etc.
Now let’s see how these factors will affect the company’s structure.
- Economic situation is one such factor which will affect the company’s structure as the company would have to terminate or eliminate many of the mid and intermediary level employees as a part of cutting the costs. This might be important for coping with the economic situation faced by the company.
- Technological advancement which is completely an external innovation will also require the company to either add more positions in its structure or even eliminate employees as all the jobs would be automatic and carried out by the technology.
- If the company gets increased demand from the customers for certain products or new product lines, they will have to set a totally new business unit completely dedicated to this product which has received high demand as they need 24x7 dedicated team for the same.
2. HRM could support manager’s activities via an operational, a tactical and a strategic perspective in the company.
Yes, an HRM could support the manager activities via an operational, a tactical and a strategic perspective in the company. This is because, for every company its human resource is the most vital and the competitive advantage that is available to the company. And the HR department or the management system is the one responsible for recruiting, training, inducing and getting all the activities done through this personnel’s.
The HRM is the one who ensures that all the employees are working on a daily basis and they are satisfied with all the policies and the working conditions of the entity.
Which ensures they are operating in a very effective manner and does not find any difficulties putting them in a situation which they are not able to solve?
HRM can also help the departments to induce and get the employees convinced for working for extended hours during the time of higher demand so as to meet up with such high demands.
The HRM also takes care of the turnover of the employees and the reasons connected with the same by conducting proper exit interviews and other actions. They also help the company in aligning the personal goals of the employees with the goals of the company which would help in realizing both of their goals in one hit.
3. Which leadership style is appropriate in the company to improve productivity and motivation levels with an organization? Contrast with other leadership styles.
The best leadership style appropriate for this company would be a supporting type of leadership style as it would work more in the form of sharing ideas, suggestions and solutions for the problems that come their way. As Inspira is a creative platform, the delegation/coaching/directing type of leadership style would not match the entity.
It is because it would only function as a job giver and assigner. Here in a creative platform people should be able to work more freely with the projects holding their interest and where they have colleagues and management executives who will be free and open to share and discuss the ideas.
4. Role of team culture in the development of corporate social responsibility policies for your company.
CSR responsibility of a company should not be considered as a duty to be fulfilled for the sake of complying with law. And this should be seen as an opportunity which the company can actually use so as to do something good to the economy and society to which we belong to.
To have such a feeling of doing good, we should have good culture and team inside our entity itself an Inspira is one of the best examples for such an entity with a good team culture as they are working for pediatric cancer on an extended basis keeping and including everyone in the team and not keeping or leaving anyone aside.
