The applied force is between the fulcrum and load in a ________ lever.
A. | first class | |
B. | second class | |
C. | third class | |
D. |
fourth class |
A) First class levers :- In this specific class fulcrum is between the force and the load . For example while Specifically using a screwdriver to remove or lift the lid from a tin or bottle. In this specific example there is a moving the effort over a more distance than the load. It is very much clear in this example fulcrum that is in the rim of the tin , close to the lid , that is the load. Here the greater force can be applied to load for to open the tin ...so this is wrong as here the force is not applied in the centre of the load and fulcrum
B) Second class levers :- In this class the load is between the effort ,that is the force, and the fulcrum. In a second class lever the effort moves Specifically for larger or longer distance to raise the load in a small distance. ...so this is wrong option as force is not in the centre of the fulcrum and load
C)Class three lever :- In this specific class the force is between the load and the fulcrum. When the Force is Specifically near to the Load then it will be very much easier to lift Examples are shovels, human arms and legs...so this answer is correct as in this specific level the force is in between the fulcrum and the load
D) Class 4 :-In this class there is a larger force taht is to act upon the load than that is supplied by the effort .Hence it is not much heavy to move larger or heavy objects....this is wrong choice as the force is not applied in the centre of the fulcrum and the load
