What is DBMS:

DBMS is one of the Technological developments in the current era. DBMS stands for Database Management System. This act as Interface between the end user and the Database in which Data of an organization is stored.

You may have doubt about why we should we use DBMS as an Interface, Let me explain the reason:

Every organization any were in the world needs information for its development or growth, and this information should be relevant and available to them as and when required. This is the basic reason for evolution of DBMS.

Basically DBMS is a computerized record keeping system in which new files are added and deleted or modified as necessary and making these data or information available to the end user as and when required. This also aid in organizing, controlling, and using the data needed by the application programme.

The important aspects of DBMS are

  1. Data
  2. Database engine
  3. Database Schema

DATA: Data is the facts given to the systems

DATABASE ENGINE: This allows the data to be accessed, modified and locked

DATABASE SCHEMA: This defines the Database logical Structure

The DBMS is perhaps most useful for providing a centralized view of data that can be accessed by multiple users, from multiple locations, in a controlled manner. A DBMS can limit what data the end user sees, as well as how that end user can view the data. End users and software programs are free from having to understand where the data is physically located or on what type of storage media it resides because the DBMS handles all requests.

RAK Group LLC is one of the company using DBMS.
