Explain (in detail) the entire development of the limbs?
Answer :- The entire development of the limbs included the
following given steps
•Limb buds potrude from the sides of the vertebrate embryo.
•Limb buds grow and are patterned along the three axes resulting in
the establishment of cartilage templates that prefigure the
bones.
•The mesenchymbal cells aggregate to form pre- chondrocyte
condensations.
•the chondrocyte cells stop dividing and differentiate into
hypertrophic chrondrocytes, which begin to secrete extracellular
matrix proteins .
•Once the cartilage elements have formed the hypertrophic
chrondrocytes undergo apoptosis.
•Their death allow blood vessels to enter, bringing in
osteoblasts.
•The osteoblasts invade the mineralized matrix laid down by the
hyperchondocytes and deposit bone matrix.
•While the osteoblasts replace the hypertrophic chrondrocytes at
the centre of the cartilage template the chondrocyte at the end
continue to proliferate and form the growth plates at the end of
the bones.Thanks dear student
