In relation to the idea of economically developing the ‘less developed” world, how are related practices, lifestyles and general exported culture creating new health issues?
There is an idea among the developed nations and or the world institutions that less developed world should be economically developed. The intentions are noble, but are also driven by the hidden agenda of using the development process of less developed world as a market. Though, it is impacted by the existing practices, regulations and the exporting culture that create health issues. The companies in the developed countries are bound to follow the regulations and practices adopted by the people. It makes them unable to sell those products that are harmful or have side effects. These products are exported to the market of the less developed world. Since the regulations are not mature, then people buy the products available to them and get sufferings of poor health or other related issues. Further, these companies start exploiting natural resources of the less developed world that creates water borne and air pollution, making it harmful to the people. As a result, generic health problem to the population and severe problems to the communities living in the near by areas of the manufacturing setups, are created. It creates strong health related challenges that are driven the existing practices, laws and exporting culture, excessively used by the companies of developed countries.
