2. Social stratification involves how a society distributes resources. It also has relational dimension-social in-equality guides with whom we do and do not interact and also how we interact with people. Can you give examples of how social class differences guide social interaction in your everyday life?

There is a misnomer that social hierarchy goes hand in hand with class level and the literacy rate (education), as much as this can be attributed to the availability of resources which makes it true, but that too only upto a certain extent.

We have been taught certain implicit metaphors and idioms since a while, that they have become a part of our conduct repertoire and they lead us to behave and act in a certain manner and accordingly.

Also, we learn and build schemas by the aid of the society we live in, we know that our social conduct is a product of what we have seen, what we know, and thus, what we have learnt.

One instance of social stratification and socialization can be work environment, within a given company there are various employees, but you wouldn't consider the housekeeping staff as your colleague and would not interact with them. Maybe for a few word exchanges but not as much you normally would with the other "colleagues."
