Strategic control is the process of monitoring and assessing a strategy that has been implemented or is in the phase of implementation. The way of doing business is going through a transformation and in order to cope with these changes, the organizations are also going through the transformation phase because they do not have any option because the level of competition is very high and there is no way they can lose any opportunity that come their way hence they need to be careful while implementing or finalizing any plan they want to proceed with regarding the organization. Therefore strategic control is a method by which such plan and approach can be monitored so that organizations can be successful and netter in this aspect.
As conveyed, strategic control is generally the process by which the strategies that are implemented recently or that are about to be implemented are monitored to ensure that the strategy has the potential to be a successful one or else there is no way the strategy can succeed in any way for the organization. There are various way by which strategy control can be conducted and that is through controlling the strategy at the very planning stage of the strategy, can be controlled through constant reassessment of a change in strategy of the organization, change in strategy of a competitor based on any immediate cause, etc. There is no doubt in the fact that if strategy control is efficiently applied in a business then the future prospect of the business is actually fruitful because there is no way that the business will suffer if the strategy is effective and efficient with the organization.
I believe that strategic control is effective and help the organization maintain its assets and liabilities in place if the implementation of the process is successful.
