Throughout history there were many events that shaped the whole world’s politics, economy, social set-ep, religion etc. Although empires had played a major role in shaping the world history, it’s the revolutions that had more impact on the present formation of the world. Movements such as the enlightenment, romanticism and age of reasoning played a major role in breaking the religious clutches thus working towards the ordinary people and moving towards a scientific world. Politically, French revolution and American revolution paved way for many more revolutions in the world that liberated people from oppression and empires thus, bringing the rule of ordinary people. Revolutions throughout the world played an important role in shaping the face of the world politics as they were instrumental in breaking the empires and establishing the rule of people in the forms of democracy. Kings and queens lost their powerful positions to the elected prime ministers through elections. Thus, the new world order evolved with more common people ruling most of the world while limiting the concept of the empires.
