Having trouble calculating the error of a diluted solution in a 100mL volumetric flask. Concentration is 0.005 +/- 0.005M Amount of Concentrated solution: 5.0mL +/- 0.1mL Volumetric flask: 100mL +/- 0.08mL

My calculation so far is ((0.1/5)+(0.005/0.005)+(0.08/100))*.00025 I keep getting 0.0002552 as my error but the answer key is 0.00003. Whats wrong in my formula?

10 mL of bleach with an unknown concentration is added to a 100mL volumetric flask. The solution is then finished with deionized water. 10 mL of this diluted bleach solution is then added to an erlenmeyer flask along with 1 scoop of KI, and 5 L of 2M HCl. This solution is then titrated with Na2S2O3 until it is a pale yellow color, then a starch indicator is added and titration is completed until the solution is clear. If 43...

100mL of ~0.1M KMnO4solution was transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask and dilute to the mark with distilled water but accidently I added 50mL more water (50 mL excessed, total 1050mL.) 0.1002g of Na2C2O4 and 32.73mL of permanganate solution were used to titrate. please Calculate the concentration of MnO4-

A student weighs by difference 0.1956g of sodium oxalate into a 100ml Volumetric flask and dilutes to the mark 10mL of HCI and 90mL of distilled water. The student then pipetted a 25mL aliquot of the ocalate solution to a 125mL Erlenmeyer flask. Approximately how many mL's of 0.02 M KMnO4 would be requied to reach the equivalence point of the trtration? The balanced alf reactions are: Reduction: MnO4- + 8H+ + 5e- --> Mn2+ + 4H2O Oxidation: C2O4 2-...

A 10.0 mL sample of liquid bleach is diluted to 100. mL in a volumetric flask. A 25.0 mL aliquot of this solution is analyzed using the procedure in this experiment. If 10.4 mL of 0.30 M Na2S2O3 is needed to reach the equivalence point, what is the percent by mass NaClO in the bleach? Hint: Percent by mass is grams of NaClO / mass of bleach. Presume a density for the bleach of 1.00 g/mL.

When calculating the concentration of a diluted solution, a person can use the dilution equation: Mc Vc = Md Vd Why does Mc Vc equal Md Vd ? What is this mathematical statement saying? Why would losing some concentrated solution from the pipet during the preparation stage ruin this equation? Explain in detail.

In the simulation on Solution Preparation you are instructed to invert the volumetric flask to mix the contents by covering the opening with a gloved finger. Explain why this is a bad idea.

1.Less quantitative dilutions can also be done without a volumetric flask, The precision of concentration is dependent on how precise the volumes are transferred. For example a dilute solution of HCl can be made using a precise amount of 5.0 M HCl and distilled water. In this case the total volume of dilute HCl (V2) is the total volume of 5.0 M HCl plus the volume of water. Determine the volume of water in mL needed to prepare 5.0mL (V2)...
