We consider vitamin A as an example of an important nutrient.

In human:

Vitamin A is the nonexclusive term for a gathering of fat-solvent mixes exceptionally significant for human wellbeing. Vitamin A deficiency mostly causes Nyctalopia. Moreover, its deficiency causes measles and diarrhea.

In ruminant animal:

Vitamin A is necessary for normal vision in animals, maintenance of healthy epithelial or surface tissues, and normal bone development.

Due to vitamin A deficiency in a ruminant animal, night blindness, diarrhea, seizures, edema, increased susceptibility to infection, abnormal bone growth, abnormal sperm, and reduction in feed intake.
