The refugee Article 1 of the United nations convention states that refugees are those persons who suffer from racism, caste-bias and cultural differences in their own inhabitation birth country and therefore migrate to some other foreign land for regular job opportunities. They suffer from poor health and hygiene, lack of money and infrastructure for living in a new land, lack of job opportunities and suffering from racial human bias in the new foreign country. This leads to stress, depression , anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorders. These include the veteran persons who take refuge in different countries after fighting in wars for example the vietnam war refugees. These include the person who are victims of war and ethnic community differences in their own country due to illegal use of heavy arms and weapons for the independence of the country and land. This creates a hostile and tumultous environment in which they decide to take refuge in some other nearby foreign lands.Gonsalves (1992) has studied the resettlement plans related to the immigration policies and availability of resources, jobs and living areas separately for these different community people in foreign lands. There should be proper food, resources, and job with money to provide proper living in the other countries. The roles and protection of these people include:

  • personal and social challenges.
  • personal mindset and individual thinking.
  • understanding socio-economic status.
  • understanding unemployment problems.
  • identification in society.
  • justice and equal status to their caste in society.
  • Porter and Haslam (2005) said those you took higher education and had more skill suffered from more socio-economic and lack of job problems after completing their education in the foreign lands. The approaches include the statistical analysis of their mental health and various types of behavioral therapies like:
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Eye-movement desensitization.
  • pharmacological drug studies and their effects on the human body.
  • learning and exposure therapies with counseling.
  • multi task therapy.
  • hamilton index.
  • Back depression inventory.

Crisis and resilient theory introduces the importance of the need to develop rules and regulations for the rehabilitation of the person with drug and substance abuse, torture, trauma and migration of people related to cultural and racial problems. It involves the development of strategies related to the application of solutions to the problems faced by adolescents in the society related to job, education, money and profession. There are various model inder these theories like the challenge model, protective factor model and compensatory model for analyzing the problems related to the occurence of crisis in life of people. Zimmerman (1995) found out the negative correlation between alcohol abuse and cultural identity in society. Rutter studied the challenge model in which the risk factors were studied which involved the youngsters to achive status and money in small amount of time and their effects on the health of the young person in society.
