Equality is one of the most important and basic value that is taught to all of us in our early childhood days. We all know equality is giving or providing equal opportunities or privelages to everyone for one to be successful and to grow, and once the opportunities are given then it solely depends on individuals how they are able to utilise those opportunities and how much result they can earn from it. It is quiet possible that they are provided equal opportunities at the beginning but don't end up with same results, because number of other factors come into play and also individuals ability to utilize the given opportunity matters.

Equity on the other hand is quiet different in my opinion from equallity. In equity it is made sure that all individuals get maximum benefits ,for that even if they are to be provided with extra privelages along with basic opportunities ,it is fine. In easier terms if I explain in equality individuals are provided with equal opportunities but no privelages are given to ensure maximum benefits or results while in equity one is provided with opportunities and also help to achieve maximum benefits. Equity in the beginning may seem unfair but it provides necessary help to achieve equal benefits to all which is actually better.

In my opinion equality is not enough, every individual has different capacity some are abled some are not but that doentdo mean they don't have right to be successful and have right to be as happy as all others are. So equity provides less abled people with greater opportunities thus ensuring success and happiness to all. Equallity is a good value one should have and harness in their minds but it does not suffice in practical life.

Yes people obviously should try harder to access rights given to them, they are rights which they own as being part of the human race.

They have right to be like all others, these rights focus on dignity, without these human rights one's freedom is diminished, with these rights the world is a better place ,With them all get equal opportunities to fulfill their dreams, it gives chance for everyone to dream about beautiful worthy life. Rights make people feel that they are special and they deserve it.

So yes there are ampel reasons why people should work harder to access rights.
