what do the following have in common:
a. O2- , N3- , Ne , F-
b. Ca2+ , Ar, S2- , Sc3+
atomic numbef of oxygen is 8. when it become O-2, it will have 10 eletrons . There are 7 electron in N and N-3 contains 10 electrons. Neon and F- ( contains 9+1 =10 ) also contains 10 electorns. So all of them listed will have 10 electrons.
All of them woluld have been shown same place in the perioidic table, because they are having same place in the peroidic table
2. electrons
Ca 20
Ca+2 18
Ar 18
S 16
S-2 18
Sc 21
Sc+3 18
all of them are having same electrons
