I was assigned to find at least two problems/ failures for a tv stand, and provide at least two solutions to the failures by making a new design. Anyone knows or has any failure ideas about tv stand nowadays? If so, please provide two solutions to that. (No need to provide a design, just ideas).

The possible reasons of failures for a TV stand could be

  1. The TV stand is wobbly due to loss screw used for tighten the stand to solid wall.
  2. The TV stand is not in same level at every point i.e. levelling problem.
  3. If Height of TV stand from ground is not proper then there may be problem of improper viewing angle of viewer to TV.
  4. Load carrying capacity of TV stand should take into consideration.

The possible solution of failures for a TV stand could be

  1. The TV stand should fasten securely and tightly to wall by providing PVC rawlplug in hole in wall.
  2. The levelling problem of TV stand could be monitor and adjust by use of Sprit Level. The bubble in Sprite Level tube should be in centre to provide proper alignment of TV stand.
  3. The ideal center of the screen should be at the eye level of the viewer and the common height of TV stand is 42 inch.
  4. The material of TV stand should capable to carry the load of TV.
