trump administration has imposed tariffs on mexico and china because he wants to improve his country's GDP and he wants to protect his citizens and put them first .as america's economy is big so if it imposes tariff on china and mexico then it can give a boost in production sector of this company so he put taiff on china also because he don't want china as a superpower so his support is towards India ..but he has not given much independence to india also to export some products and removed its GPS Program from india and we can say that Trump's policies are very conservative and he said to mexico that mexican economy is small and more dependent on USA than vice versa and he said that revenues coolected from these tariffs will be given to poor countries but it doesn't appear and said that he want to cut country's trade deficit and he want to protect steel and aluminium industries.

this could affect and degrade peoples condition around the world because USA economy is also dependent heavily on all countries like china ,mexico and india and if they oppose this and proposed retaliatory tariff then it will create a condition of a trade war which is worse for all economies arpound the world .and it will affect its production sector as well so in my opinion free trade is better than imposing tariff
