To work more sustainable the manager need to practise the principle of sustainability. This involves integrity, colloborative efforts on work, consideration to the society, like to be a part of coporate social responsbility which helps employees to go and think beyond their daily routine work., This inturn give more positive energy on the work and realise how it impact to the business, soceity and to the economy with micro level contribution from each and every team member. Understanding the requirement of clients and satisfyying their need is a basic management objective. But for sustainability there should be focus on value generation, creating business impact and also serving back to the society which provide all the resources and opportunities. Team work colloboration, cultural diversity etc is very important for a team to deliver holisitc level results. There should be proper monitoring mechanism and recongnise the team members based on their contribution on the sustainability effort. Many leading companies like Microsoft, Google etc encourage employees to do projects based on sustainability and they do sponsorship for the same based on the quality of the proposals.
