Answer) Some measures that can be employed to facilitate employee improvement during evaluation when there are noted deficiencies are as follows-
1-) Proper Communication about the goals and targets that needs to be achieved - During an evaluation, it is better to Communicate what the company expects from their Employees and what goals they have to achive. This helps the Employees to get a clear cut idea what they have to achive and how to achive. Setting goals and targets in an evaluation, makes the Employees aware of their responsibilities and ares in which they have to work.
2-) Discussing with the Employees about the job satisfaction and work culture - For facilitation of Employee improvement, it is essential that certain things are discussed which impact Employee morale and productivity such as Work environment, pay structure, Employees recognition etc. This things matter a lot and discussing these things helps to know the ground reality that can be used to improve performance.
3-) During evaluation, giving them situations where they have full authority to take Decisions- If an employee is given situation, where their entrepreneurship ability is tested and they are given authority to take decisions, they may know their personal traits which normally they wouldn't have known. This will make them know what deficiencies they would have if they are required to lead a team and they can start working on it.
I think the second option would work best because this helps to know the overall situation about the work environment and culture and whether there is any external stimuls which is creating an hindrance in performance. They can be solved both by the company and the employee and as it may affect other Employees also, it will have a large effect.
