1. Differentiate between an incremental and a
differential backup
2.
Differentiate the purposes of historical and real-time
monitoring.
Question 1:
In differential backup only those items and files are copied which have been altered or modified before a prior full backup had taken place. Primary advantage of this backup stems up when we have data which is to be restored.
In incremental back, all the files are copied in the time span of the period between full backups. Incremental backup is mainly performed if the previous backup made was either a full one or an incremental one. Its primary advantage lies in the fact that much less files need to be copied in the interval of full backups and giving rise to smaller window for backups
Question 2:
In real time monitoring we have a live running feed of all the crucial and absolutely important information which needs to be catered to on the dashboard. They are used when we have waiting customer at the queue backend
Historical monitoring provides us all relevant data based on the past information which has gathered and tries to improvise on that and provides a better monitoring experience. Real time monitoring develops on this historical past trend
