Argue why it is important for managers to pay attention to demographic trends and shifts when operating in a global society. Provide examples of demographic trends and shifts to illustrate your answer.

Managers need to address the concern and they have to managae according to the diversity of the team . In the current globalisation era organisation have presence across global and they have team members from dofferdif parts of global. In order to create a colloborative environment and a proper team balance managers need to understand the diversity and accept the difference in culture. Decision making, policy implementation, work force management, performance review all has to be well balanced. Communication to be transparent and should avoid all sort bias on any particular part of team.

Demographic trends are varying across organisation. For eg. Companies like GE have their business across 150 countries and have employees from almost major countries across world. Their global team strength has increased more than 50% in the last one decade. People from different countries, different age groups, educational background, cukturcu background,ethnicity etc are part of their team. They have global policy which accepts and incorporate the diversity and create a balance working environment. They have strong complocomp and cultural balance team which address the concerns and take strict action against those who breach their norms

Thus global team is never for all corporate to expand their business, and to add capabilities as per the business operations requirements. The trend in shift comprises for people from different econimecon classes, different countries, diffrdiff languages and different skill sets need to work tovetoge for the conpancom objectives.
