how can participative leadership be used to address 'othering' in a community organization?
Participative leadership could be used for addressing 'othering' in a community organization. It helps an organization in getting input from everyone working in the organization. Here employees are given more opportunities to take part in the decision-making process so that the employees of the community organization feel that they are very much part of the organization. The most important advantage of participative leadership in a community organization is that there will be better acceptance for the decisions of the organization. It will be helpful in improving the morale of the employees. It also helps a community organization in getting creative solutions to the problems a community organization faces. Further, there will be more probability that an employee working in a community organization continues with the organization for a longer period. It will definitely create a conducive and collaborative environment in a community organization instead of competition.
