it is easier to accept companies as corporations: focused on net assets and liabilities, matrices of price/earnings and viewed as monolithic entities/faceless bureaucracies. The challenge presented here is how to view them as communities made up of individuals, and therefore attempt to change to the organizational culture. Provide detail ways in which engineers may change the corporate climate of a company; ways in which the organizational culture may shift from a price/earning perspective to a transformational community, which includes personal commitments and allow for moral dimensions within human activities.
Globalization has brought a stiff competition among the multinational corporations. This has caused increased amount of unethical products and processes. The main focus of these corporate companies is profit and immeasurable profit. This makes the companies involve in unethical advertisements, unethical ingredients level in the products. They also tend to corrupt the government officials and politicians in order to start and grow in other countries. This affects the morality of the employees who work there too.
In recent years, almost all the corporate companies have taken the Corporate Social Responsibility. This helps the companies to help the disadvantaged people with the profit that they accumulate. They help the governments to build infrastructures and other facilities in different parts of the country. They also allow their employees to take up their own initiatives to help other people. Although this will not compensate for the damage corporate companies cause to the environment and people something is better than nothing. Their helping hand has helped change the life of many people across the world, especially their contribution to rural development is very significant. Apart from these, they could keep the required ingredients and raw materials in their products and the effects of consuming those products, they could set a reasonable price thus facilitating it for all the people and they could have a realistic advertisements which will not mislead people.
