There are so many sporting events in the country; these are football league, basketball league, swimming competition, etc. Demand of these games depends on the following factors:
No.1) Quality and competitiveness: if the quality of sport is high (like NBA basketball) and teams competing are arch rivals, the demand of attending the event would be high.
No.2) Income of people: if the average income of people is high in the city, the demand of ticket would be high (no matter what the price is).
No.3) Communication: in order to get the high demand of a sporting event, a good communication system should be arranged (like frequent bus service, train service, etc.). People don’t want hassle in watching and returning.
No.4) Substitutes: in order to get high demand, a sporting event must not be arranged where there are other festivals, activities, or sports (like on Christmas day).
No.5) Capacity of the stadium: this is the supply side facility or activity to meet demand. A sporting event would be demanded more if the stadium is big and has adequate infrastructure (like sun protection shed, AC room, and water supply).
