Gender equity is the situation when men and women enjoy the same
opportunities and rights across all the society including services,
benefits, economic participation, decision-making power,
aspirations and they are valued equally. But somehow throughout the
world, women are treated differently than men.Thus there are many
way outs-
- Give more information about women that what they are doing, how
they are enough eligible as men etc. According to Jemima Olchawski,
“Media has a key role in shaping issues and, if women are excluded
from the process, it’s emblematic of how society is excluding women
and not giving them due voice,”
- According to Sekyiamah,“Management plays a critical role in
communicating, and role modeling this to team members,”
- It should be focussed that a female is getting equal role in
the office compared to men.
- Any reservation for female should be canceled to bring
equity.
- Men and women should have same pay role.
- Engage female in more challenging jobs.
