Explain whats is good and bad and explain the differences between both
Solution :
Microsoft Windows Server 2019 is the latest version ( or iteration
) of Microsoft's distinguished server operating system (OS),
Whereas Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS ( also known as Bionic Beaver ) was
released in 2018 and it is not the latest version ( Ubuntu 19.10
(Eoan Ermine) is the latest version of the Ubuntu server
).
(A) Microsoft Windows Server 2019 supports Kubermetes ( for automating applications deployment, scaling, and management ), whereas Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS does not support Kubermetes. Hence, we can say that for automating, scaling and managing applications deployment, Using Microsoft Windows Server 2019 is a better option rather than using Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS.
(B) Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS supports AMD secure memory encryption for maintaining security and privacy. Whereas Microsoft Windows Server 2019 uses Shielded Virtual Machines for memory storage, which is not as much associated with encryption as Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS is. Hence, we can say Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS provides more security and more reliability than Microsoft Windows Server 2019 while memory storage.
Conclusion : Everything has its pros and cons, So, it is not advisable to say what is good and what is bad. For some features, Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS might be a better option. And for some other special features, Microsoft Windows Server 2019 might be a better option.
