"Islamophobia is rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of muslminess or perceived muslminess".

Oxford dictionary defined Islamophobia as

"Dislike of or prejudice against Islam or Muslims ,especially as a political force".

Islamophobia is the extreme fear or hatred against the islamic religion.Terrorism and Racism are the main reasons behind Islamophobia.

The word Islamophobia is used in english as early as 1925 to quote the French word Islamophonie. The French word Islamophobie is found in a paper published by Alain Quelling in 1910. But the english term Islamophobia was first used in print in 1991
