A work schedule is a list of employees and other information such as location, working hours and responsibilities assigned for a given period of time such as a day, a week or a month. In other words it is a sheet which includes the hours days and weeks of other period of time an employee is scheduled to work at a particular job.
This schedule is very important for the smooth functioning and operation of factories, offices and other business which generally has a bigger work force. Every detail is mentioned in this schedule such as a particular employee has what job to do? When to do? Where to do? Who others will accompany him? In factories the work schedule is displayed at the entrance so that the employee can check all the details from the entry point only, prepare and present him at the job.
Scheduling of job is very important in organization such as manufacturing units, hospitals, shopping malls, security service and retail stores. The human resources are well informed about their job with the help of this schedule which keeps the organization functioning efficiently.
