Under Double Declining Balance Method:

Straight-Line Depreciation Percent = 100% / Useful Life = 100% / 6 = 16.66%

Double Declining Depreciation Rate = 2 x Straight-Line Depreciation Percent = 16.66 * 2 = 33.33%

Depreciation for a Period = Depreciation Rate x Book Value at Beginning of the Period
