Expert Solution

ANSWER 1 :- Even a program of light exercise can be beneficial in reducing stress. The ststement is "True".

REASON :- It is so because in order to lower down the tendency of stress in the person, any sort of exercise is one of the easiest and finest way.It is not required that a person needs to perform heavily exercise, rather doing the simpler things, which involves merely walking kind of things will be even beneficial for reeducing the stress.

ANSWER 2 :- Individual people may react to similar stressor differntly because of "Cognitive Appraisal".

REASON :- It is so because through the use of cognitive appraisal,a person tend to analyze and thus calculate the situation of stress present to them. They determine the extent up to which the given condition is problematic to them, and then they even tend to realize and make their mind with the way of dealing with it.So it completely dependent on the person's abilities of cognition for the purpose of reaction, and thus individual people react differently to similar stressor.

ANSWER 3 :- All that is needed to produce physiological stress- response (quickened heartbeat etc.) is a stressful situation. The statement is "True".

REASON :- It is so because anything which creates any form of fear in the person, and he feels that he lacks behind the tendency to deal and overcome it,leads to the situation which is stressful, and these situation further shows the response physiologically that is leading to increase in the rate at which heart is beating etc.Without any such condition which is not stressful the person will not show nay such response related to stress in terms of his bodily aspects.

ANSWER 4 :- The immune system is made of number of white blood cells. The best definition for "B" cells is "surrounds the foreign body and contains it".

REASON :- The reason behind this is that the main work that B cell specifically does is to come around any of the foreign body that comes up,and thereby helps to develop those bodies or immunity which further deals with these foreign bodies.

Question 1 In this exercise, you are required to do a program analysis and write a program for a system that computes a speeding ticket cost. The charge is calculated as follows: P20 for every kilometre above the speed limit, plus P100 standard charge. E.g. If the speed limit is 60 km/hour and you are driving at 75 km/hour. The charge will be P400. If the speed is equal to or under the speed limit, then there is no charge....

The results of a tensile test can be evaluated as either engineering stress-strain curves or true stress-strain curves. The original cross-sectional area of the tensile test specimen is used to plot the former one, whereas the instantaneous cross-sectional area is used for the latter one. Assume that you are an engineer who needs to design a structural product using a hypothetical metal A, which should not plastically deform in the application area. You need to apply a tensile test to...
