In many countries there exists laws to control and prevent the measures of export, or in other words it is controlled. This all exists because of the strong reason that there exists a very significant and unbreakable relationship between the economic progress and the national security.

And in the international trade the national security will become an issue when one nation trade with the other in a one-sided way by imposing their interest on others. In such a situation the fair trade agreement and the faith in between the nations become interrupted and such practices will negatively impact the national security.

International trade is the most important way to achieve the progress of the nation and promotes economic prosperity, on the other hand national security refers the to the protection from the threats that arise against the nation. For example a military threat against the nation.

When the trade sanction have enacted against a nation, it is a measure take against the nation who possess a threat to another nation, the nation will under a tension on this economic embargo and they must be ready to negotiate with the existing rules. Hence the export controls can be clearly seen as an important determinant of security threats.
