Give a detailed account of Social Policy in terms of Contributory Programs and Non-contributory Programs.
Contributory programs are classified those programs which are initiated by the government of any country which includes provision of social security,medical aids and facilities , education, infrastructural developments etc. Which are financed or funded by taxes and are reconsidered and redesigned annually for cost of living calculations and adjustments.
Social policies-
- social secirity and medical aid program for the senior citizens.
- providing subsidies and exemption to the middle cless societ for uplifting their financial status.
-providing affordable basic amenities needed for life.
- encouraging employment.
- equal distribution of wealth and economy
The non-contributory programs include those programs which includes temporary assistance to needy families based of social survey and statistics it provides program with initial investments in social development of providing basic facilities for living it is mostly implemented in developing and under developed countries.
Social policies-
- Education policies that is compulsory education for all
- employment and training programs are designed to give necessary skills to compete in the job market.
-health care program.
-housing policy which intend to provide suitable housing to low income individuals.
- protection of minorities,women and children.
