• Visual semiotics is a sun domain of semiotics that analyses the way visual images communicate a message.They are used in our everyday life.
• Semiotics is a science of communication and sign system , in short the way people understand the phenomen and organize them mentally.
• Semiosis is the relation between sign , object and meaning. A sign can be word , sound , a touch or visual images.
• A person who studies or practices semiotics is a semiotician. Many terms and concepts used by contemporary semioticians were introduced by the Swiss linguist Ferdinand de Saussure (1857–1913).
• Common example of semiotics include traffic sign , emojis and emoticon used in electronic communication ,and logos and brands used by international corporations to sell us thing -Brand loyalty.
• Semiotics are very useful in daily life in advertisement.. Regardless of its medium printed matter (with or without graphics), or jingles and radio commercials, advertisements make use of the system of signs to communicate with its target audience.
