What is the validity to the assumption that migrating to the United States from other parts of the countries will have a profound effect on the cultural integrity of the kid growing up. **Basically I know the question maybe be confusing to understand but what I want to explore in this topic is the assumption people have with Americans having no culture and like other countries Pakistan or India, they have a sense of family hood here in the states sometimes we see kids become distant from parents etc, and I want to explore what is the reason behind it. Even in TV commercials sometimes they openly joke about marital couples not hanging out with parents etc. Which is kind of sad to some degree so this is something I want to possibly discuss about and try to make sense of whats exactly going on could be technology advancement people having less interaction with each other etc.
An individual learns and understand how to behave come from the observing. A behavior of an individual starts transforming from the time it takes birth to the last time of an individual. This transformation and leaning comes from the environment an individual grows.
In simple terms, the society (nearby people, school, religious practices and culture). Culture here refers to long term practiced practices by a society or group of people (learned way of living).
Apart from this a second factor in this is the financial freedom. Countries like India, China value relationship, family structure and other things because they practiced it since long in their society and this in engrained. They see that there are benefits of being in a family.
However, in USA kids observe that there is a individualistic culture in the society. People stay alone, marriages can happen without involvement of family, there are no burden of having responsibility of family, and their parents have done the same to their grandparents.
All this combined with technology allows them to create a impression that downgrades family.
