Western society is being characterised by a set of beliefs and values which impact the life of majority of people. Various ethical values are also related with this type of society. One of the important feature of this society is that this society is filled with concept of rationality.

Idea of democracy is also very dominant here. Another important and integral feature of this society is the concept of individualism. People's privacy is being maintained with extreme effort. If someone tries to interfere in privacy of others then it is being considered as unethical.

This society also have deep faith on aspect of development of technologies. A scientific approach is being followed. More and more emphasis remain on maintaining the integrity and dignity of lives of common people. People believe in concept of independence and freedom.

Relations are important part of life but this is not being taken as a social constraint. Expressing own thoughts with positive attitude is the prime feature of this society. Feeling of patriotism is also very dominant in this society.
