Water sprinklers are a type of irrigation system that helps in efficient use of water.
The two external conditions that can affect water sprinklers are :

1. soil depth and texture: the texture of soil affects the water sprinkler efficiency. Hard soil that is impermeable to water helps prevent water leakage and water losses.
2. Uneven land : Setup of water sprinklers at uneven land results in difficulty in irrigating areas which are at higher level.
The technology has done immense progress. Technology can help us in conserving our natural resources and manage consumption and prevent wastage by keeping a check on how much resource we sre consuming. Two smart devices used to conserve water are:

1. Self monitoring water meters for showers : These monitors are attached to the shower and tells about the water usage when the water flows through the shower. This will help keep a check in water usage while bathing.
2. Tap and flush system : This system uses two buttons for flushing the toilet. One is small and the other one is bigger. The small button allows less amount of water flow through it and can be pressed when only less quantity of water is needed to flush the toilet. The bigger button is used when large amount of water is needed to flush the toilet.
