write a summary of a sheep heart dissection
ANSWER: Sheep heart dissection is the cutting of particular areas of heart of a sheep to see the different section of the heart. A sheep heart is similar to the human heart. Like most mammals the sheep's heart has four chambers with two atria and two ventricles. Like in humans the blood flow through the heart of the sheep will be from right atria to right ventricle for deoxygenated blood and for oxygenated blood it is through the left atria and vemtricle of the same side. The half of the heart that includes the apex is the left side of the heart. The left side lf the sheep heart is firmer than the right side which is due to the muscles that pump the blood out to the body while the right side comparitively less firm as it punps blood only to the lungs. Darker flaps are located on the top of the sheep's heart which are called the auricles. There should be a large opening at the top of the heart right next to auricles. This is the opening of the superioe vena cava that brongs deoxygenated blood from upper half of the body. Slightly down the superior vena cava opening is the inferior vena cava opening whoch brings blood from lower half of the body. Right in the centre of the heart of the heart is the aorta. To the left side of the back of aorta is present the Pulmonary artery that carry blood to the lungs for oxygenation. As in humans there are av valves present in the sheep's heart also it contains the semilunar valves whoch would prevent the backflow of blood.
