To make out the decision, the data available must be clear and concise in order to form opinion based on it. Usually there are bunch of data available and to sort out the same, we need some more information up to the mark considering whether it is relevant for us. For doing so we can follow the following steps for better decision making:

1. Know and define your areas of concern – First you need to design question as to what you want and define it concisely and clearly.\
2. Set the timeline and instruments for measuring it – Decide how will you measure your data and set the timeline for it to ensure the timely completion on the same.
3. Things to keep in mind for collection of data –

• Know what all information can be receive from existing sources
• Where will you save this data to be accessible by all
• Set up the templates for collection of data

1. Now Organize your data in such a way that it is easily under stable and comparable and one can be able to form decision on it. You can use data analysis tools and software’s.
2. Now analysis the data as to whether it answering your questions framed under step-1. Is it possible to find out any objections or any flaws you encountered? Based on this result, you will be knowing whether your data analysis is up to the mark for managers to take decisions based on it or some fixation is required.
